A message by Mariella Scirea to the supporters
Mariella Scirea sent a letter to daily newspaper “La Stampa” which was published on today’s edition, as an invitation to the supporters of the stand which bears the name of the unforgettable Gaetano to behave in a civilized manner.
SE CHIAMARSI CURVA SCIREA HA UN SENSO (IF BEING CALLED THE SCIREA STAND MAKES SENSE)
On Saturday night, I too will be at the Stadio Olimpico. I hope that Juventus-Inter will be a correct match on the field and in utter good will outside and on the stands. Then, obviously, may the best team win […].
Gaetano was against any type of offence: the colour of the skin, the dead, and persons both opponents or mothers of opponents. I have faith in our supporters and in the will to be superior to the most basic of instincts and perhaps even to the high provocation of others […].
Stadiums are not theatres but they must not become shallow. A stand that bears the name of Gaetano Scirea should be double committed to bring forth a battle, free of demagogy, and have as the main objective the collective intent of cancelling damaging and vulgar chants. All: without distinction.
Being called the Scirea Stand means a privilege and a responsibility. My husband followed a concept of football which was out of the ordinary. He lived by it without hysteria which, today, seems to have become a predominant and fixed system.
On the 3rd of September it was the 20th anniversary since the demise of Gaetano, and the supporters continue to be very close to him, in their memories and affection. It is for this reason that I would never want to ask myself if it is still worthwhile that a stand carries his name. Having said this, the uncivilized sporting manner of many Italians is not born in the staqdiums but is brought into them.
There was no man better then Scirea. He is JUVENTUS!
and i will always say is.

Good News: Sneijder will not play against Juventus. Same with Ribery v. Juve in the UCL. Lippi might want to return to Juventus after the World Cup, which I support fully.
Bad News: No Melo, No Grosso. v. Inter. They can play v. Bayern.
Ok so we know that Sneijder will not play, there are talks Balotelli will play in his spot or some young 19-year-old kid who is deemed a creative midfielder.
My problem is Grosso, he must be fit if we are to win. We can live without Melo becasue we have Sissoko, Marchisio and Poulsen. Not to mention Melo has been dreadful in recent weeks. I heard Poulsen can play LB and is rather comfortable, if you can believe that, he is better then De Ceglie or Molinaro...or he is just as good. This could be very interesting.
LETS HOPE GROSSO RETURNS!!!
Has anyone noticed the recent talks of Caliopoli in the media lately. Today Moggi once agan told of how it was made up, as he did 2x last week. He stated
"The truth is that Calciopoli never existed. It exists only in the minds of the people who wanted to bring this thing forwards.
"The proof is in the trial that took place in Turin. Juventus were acquitted of any wrong doing - that says it all. The facts do not exist.
"Calciopoli was born because the club did not defend us. Referees make mistakes."
Also Chellini is a great Juventus man, he is back training again after nose surgery, with a mask. There is NO ONE tougher then "THE GREAT" Giorgio. Thank you Giorgio for being you.
I want to guarantee something.
CHAMAKH WILL BE A JUVENTUS PLAYER in the 2010-2011 season(next season) because his contract is up after the end of the season. He does not want to go to Arsenal and wants to come to Juventus. Also Tiago is wanted by Bordeaux, which I would not sell him for less then 5 million euros...

Here are my reasons(not realisticially) why Juventus will beat Inter.
1. Inter are undefeated in their last 8 Serie A gamess.
2. Juventus have lost their last two games and are due for a win.
3. Juve have not beaten Inter in our last 3 games. Last time in the 07-08 campaign.
4. We have not scored a goal for over 2 games, and have not scored multiple goals since the Atalanta game.
5. Ferrara's head is on the line.
6. I predicted we would win this game at the start of the season and that Diego or Melo would score v. Inter my predictions are usually correct.
7. Because if we lose this game then we will have no shot at losing v. Bayern.
8. Inter have scored at least a goal in their last 8 Serie A games and are due for a clean sheet.
9. The Olympico is sold out and we will give them hell. Good job guys.
10. Because we are a good team and can beat Inter. We will stick behind Ferrara and prove to the world
we can still win the Scudetto and go 5 pts. back of Inter.
and...look at this we are back where we started before the vital 5 games and should be in the next round of the UCL as well. From crisis to normal in a few games....and EVERYONE(not you guys and me...the Media and Interista) will have to politely...SHUT UP!
Not only that but this could potentially be a game to turn around a whole season and really get us going. We have not won a BIG game this year.
2 missed chances v. Bordeaux. 1 missed chance v. Bayern. WE ARE DUE FOR A BIG WIN...v Inter or Bayern.
I feel bad for one of them...most likely the latter of the two.
and with this win I would like to dedicate it to Gianluca Pessoto.

Here are a few of the possible replacements that could take over the Juventus helm if we lose to Inter or crash out of the UCL.
Spaletti-
Gasperini-
Rijkaard-
Mancini-
Lippi-not until after 2010.
Benitez-maybe who knows.
Jose Mourinho-same with Benitez
Didier Deschamp-
Del Bosque-Interesting choice...
Hiddink is out!
Hitzfeld-
I will write on these coaches...please leave comments on who else could replace Ferrara.

First we must understand that Juve has only played well in around 6-7 games this season. With many 1-0 grind results. They will not beat Inter next week with Ferrara so it does not matter if we fire him and hire a new coach in time for the game. Because we will lose with him.
So tomorrow we fire Ferrara and bring in Luciano Spaletti to coach Juventus. He will cement a formation and bring in players to play in that formation, not to mention he knows how to coach a 4-3-1-2 or a 4-2-3-1. He has a load of experience and can COACH UNDER PRESSURE. He is a classy man as well, as he proved when he stepped down as Roma's coach.
Then it is imperative to beat Inter or get past Bayern in the UCL. If we stick with Ferrara in these two games and lose to Inter we will be 11 points back and then if we lose in the UCL we can soley focus on the league. And you can count your stars if that happens by that time anew coach will be at the helm.
So we are either going to be going to the knockout stages with Ciro or will be focusing on the league with Spaletti or some other coach.
I would rather just focus on both with Spaletti...I cant wait to hear their reaction. let me guess we must forget about this game and think about Inter. how many times have we heard that now.
The team has not gotten better in the past 3 seasons due to poor coaching and bad TM buys. Fire Ferrara and bring in an experienced head coach....Spaletti in my opinion.
IMO... I do not think they will fire Ferrara, he will be given the chance v. Inter and Bayern. The only way they fire him is if they lose to Inter and Bayern. Which is a possibility, but not probable. The Bayern game is key. If he draws. v. Inter and draws. v.Bayern he will not be fired. Which stinks because he should be.

Wow, you would expect a good first half after getting embarrassed by Bordeaux. Well that was not the case what so ever.
I am sorry but why is Marchisio playing of the left hand side of the 3 in the 4-2-3-1. I can understand in Sissoko or Poulsens place. But this once again shows Ferrara's incompetence. He contributed nothing to the first half. Giovinco must be subbed in at half time.
The 4-2-3-`1 is not working and every time we got deep in their area with little support a cross to Amauri(who was guarded by 3 or 4 players at at time) was just cleared out creating nothing. Camo is done IMO, that guy has his days but did nothing. Diego is a WASTE of money simple as that. I know this sounds crazy but why not switch back to the 4-4-1-1 and grind teams out. Play good defense and counteratack them. We do not have to dominate very game, just win it.
Buffon was partially not ready for that goal. While it should not have gotten through, he was out of position and cost us BIG TIME!!! Once again I would have sold him for 50 million this offseason and bought 2 great players and put Manninger as my #1. We would be in better shape, once you get connections in football you become voulnerable and lose.
WE DID NOT GET 1 CHANCE IN the WHOLE FIRST HALF!!!
As far as I am concerned if we have played poorly all season, many games we have grinded games out. Ferrara has to go immediately after his loss.
Let me go over every game: 1 v. Chievo poorly played. 2 v. Roma-well played 3. Lazio-2-0 but very ugly. 4.Livorno 2-0 solid game. 5. Genoa-good road draw. 6. Bologna-big time choke job, thanks Molinaro, 7. Palermo-beat down badly. 8.Fiorentina-not played well at home, but liveable. 9.Siena-ugly win again. 10.Sampdoria-great game. 11. Napoli-embarrasment. 12.Atalanta-better scoreline then played, 2 goals to a weak team. 13. Udinese-very ugly win.14 Another ugly loss.
So of our Serie A games: we have played well in 4 maybe 5.
In the UCL: Choke job, v. Bord. Then a beat down and very lucky not to lose v. Bayern. Then 2 1-0 wins over a really bad team, lucky to win. A beat down by Bordeaux....
why is Ferrara still in charge. He needs to go immediately. Becasue if Juve loses today and Inter wins....then season over, unless Spaletti or Hiddink can bring luck.
Second half: just as bad as the first half...once again Del Piero for Marchisio. Giovinco should play there not Del Piero. OMG...the team still has not created 1 chance in the whole game.
Diego needs to be benched or play in the 4-4-1-1 becasue this is not working, he is not working.
Now that the game is over....
Ferrara must go! I dont care that the Inter game is next week because we are not going to beat them with this squad. Change the coach bring in Spaletti, Hiddini, who ever...but Ferrara must go immediately.
Of the 5 vital games Juve has lost 2 and luckily won 1. The season is over, unless a new coach can bring life into us like Hiddink did to Chelsea last year.
Inter has an 8 point lead...now we must beat them or 11 pts....simple Sneijder is better then Diego..by far. Milito and Eto'o our better then our strikers, They have a rock solid D and a good keeper.
Juve has no Defense that that will be the differnce.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Tuttosport goal.com and Juventus' Tiago are looking to sell for 5 million Euros and use that money to buy the 29-year-old Miguel of Valencia for around 7-8 million.
Jose Mourinho has read the rule book stating if our fans start to yell rascist things at Balotelli and Zanetti / Mourinho Juventus takes them off the field will be given a 3-0 victory. So we willbe playing them the WHOLE game.
and ... as I have stated here many times these next 3 games are our season and if Ferrara does not get the right results Which would be at very least to see win Cagliari, draw v. Inter and Bayern. Which would see us remain 5 pts or less behind Inter and clinch a spot in the knockout stages of the UCL!
This Is The Beginning or the End of Ferrara ... my question is if he messes this up who replaces him? Gasperini is out at the end of this season ... hmm ...
but I think the Cagliari game is key. We win that we will be ok.
Amauri and is fit and will play v. Cagliari. and NO BIG ... I have heard that De Ceglie will get the nod over Molinaro. Imagine if Molinaro plays and he costs us again ... hell will break loose. Juve must score at least 2 goals to win tomorrow. We might need 3.
I would like to see Marchisio feature at some point in this game. If we have 1 goal lead later in The Game I would switch the formation, especially if it is not working to hold onto the lead. Cagliari have won their last 3 games games.
Cagliari's home recordis 3-0-3. They have scored 11 goals in 6 games and Conceded 9. Juve have not lost to Cagliari since 1999.
A prediction for The Game: Diego will score.
also we will have to hold Matri, and more so Neni off the scoresheet. Both have scored 5 goals in Serie A.
Goal.com prediction: 1-1.
My prediction: 2-1 Juventus

A message to all others who say Juventus is scum.
Juventus has suffered for our scandal(which we never were found guilty of). We were revoked of 2 scudetti, lost million, lost some of our best players and gave Inter a golden age that they were on the verge of.
Now a few years later we are stronger and building into a very bright future with a new stadium, new great players and a GREAT fan base.
Juventus rascist fans should not be grouped in with every Juventus fan. Just becasue around a few hundred CRAZY ultras are racist does not mean every Juventus supporter is. Not only is that ignorant it is just as rascist as the crazy Juve ultras.
Juventus is a proud orgainzation and if our CRAZY supporters once again do this they should be punished, but that is IF.

Good News.
According to Bayern Munich's Sporting Director Frank Ribery will not feature in the pivital
clash with Juventus.
"Frank is making progress every day, but we must give him time to recover. I think that will make his return to camp next year."
He will start resuming runnin in 2 weeks and by that time Juventus will have already played Bayern. A llttle good news for now!
Chamakh has stated again to tuttosport his admiration for Juventus and that he could do great things in Serie A. Not to mention his contract runs out at the end of the season so it would be a FREE transfer. 25-years-old and a potential super player. We should count our lucky stars.
Chelsea are closing in on a potential 100 million pound trasfer of Sergio Aguero. 100 million OMG. incredible!
Bad News:
Amauri will not feature in the Cagliari game, and Grosso is a serious doubt. NOO MOLINARO might have to play!!!!
